Your Questions, Answered
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
No! We’ll arrive with the cleaning supplies and tools needed for your appointment. Hannah’s Housekeeping is environmentally conscious and prioritizes products and practices that help us clean effectively while being mindful of our impact.
Do I need to be home during my cleaning?
Not at all. You’re welcome to be home, but you don’t need to be. If you’ll be away, we can arrange access to your home ahead of time so your cleaning can be completed while you’re out.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
No problem! Please contact us at least 72 hours before your appointment, and we’ll gladly help you cancel or find another time that works for you.
Is there anything you don’t clean?
Yes. For safety and liability reasons, we’re unable to provide certain services, including cleaning ceilings or surfaces outside of normal reach, mold removal, rubbish or building-material removal, steam or carpet cleaning, lifting heavy furniture, exterior wall or window cleaning, or moving furniture with delicate or valuable items on it.
What areas do you service?
Hannah’s Housekeeping proudly serves Vancouver and surrounding areas throughout the Lower Mainland. With the flexibility to travel, we’re happy to come to you. Not sure if your neighbourhood is within our service area? Just reach out!
How much does a cleaning cost?
Cleaning services start at $55/hour with a $165 minimum. The total cost will depend on the size of your space, the type of clean, and the amount of work required. We believe in transparent pricing, so we’ll make sure you know what to expect before your appointment.
What types of cleaning do you offer?
We offer standard home cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and cleaning for offices and small businesses. Services can include kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and more depending on your needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or rescheduling made at least 72 hours in advance will not incur a fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment are subject to a $100 fee, while cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service.
Can I book recurring cleaning services?
Absolutely! If you’d like a little help keeping your space consistently clean, ask us about setting up a recurring cleaning schedule that works for your home, business, and routine.
A Clean Home for Every Member of the Family.
Pet hair on the couch, muddy paw prints across the floor, nose prints on the windows, we get it! There’s absolutely no need to tidy up or feel embarrassed before we arrive. Homes with pets are lived-in homes, and all those little messes are part of sharing your space with them.
There’s no need to send them away on cleaning day because pets are always welcome to stay home while we clean. All we ask is that you let us know about any pets ahead of time so we can make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
